TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE MOUNT ELEMENTARY CAREER LABORATORY
AT THE W.S. MOUNT ELEMENTARY SCHOOL IN STONY BROOK, NEW YORK

All participants in the Mount Elementary Career Laboratory to be held on Friday, May 16, 2008, at the W.S. Mount Elementary School in Stony Brook, New York (the “Career Laboratory”) shall be deemed to have agreed to the following terms and conditions. Such agreement shall be deemed made by each child’s parent(s) and/or guardian(s) on behalf of each participating child and by each adult participant on their own individual behalf (the “Participant”). Any Participant who is unwilling and/or unable to agree to these terms and conditions should not participate in the Career Laboratory.

Each Participant, hereby (a) waives and releases any and all claims for damages for death, personal injury or loss of property which they may have or which may accrue as a result of participation in the Career Laboratory, and (b) specifically discharges and releases any of the Career Laboratory sponsors or presenters, and all other affiliated organizations, and their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives, agents, boards, and commissions, from all liability arising out of or connected in any way with participation in the Career Laboratory, whether or not caused by the acts or negligence of any of such parties or of any third-party.

Each Participant acknowledges that participation in the Career Laboratory involves risks, including, but not limited to, the risk of serious injury and/or death. Each Participant further acknowledges that participation in the Career Laboratory is voluntary and done at their own risk, and that they voluntarily assume all risk of loss, damage or injury that may be sustained as a result thereof. Each Participant understands that this Waiver and Release is absolute as to all claims, demands, causes of actions, suits, damages, losses, costs and expenses which may arise as a result of injury or death or as a result of any property damages which may arise as a result of participation in the activity.

By participating in the Career Laboratory each Participant acknowledges and represents that they have read and understood everything written above, including the fact that they are releasing and waiving certain potential rights held by themselves, their child/children, their heirs, successors, executors, administrators and assigns, and are voluntarily agreeing to participate in the Career Laboratory and agreeing to the Terms and Conditions stated above.
